Twain’s Twines designs first published in Jumping the Broom by Harriet Cole, former Fashion Editor of ESSENCE Magazine; the cover of BLACK ELEGANCE, October 1993; ACCESSORIES, January 1994; and The McCall Pattern Magazine, Winter 1994/95. Her line of Twains’ Twines afrocentric Accessories retailed at Marshall Field’s Chicago; Hudson’s Detroit; Rich’s Atlanta; and Nordstrom’s New Jersey stores. ESSENCE BY MAIL featured the Mudcloth Wrap by Twain’s Twines in the Spring 1994 catalog from which The McCall Pattern Company purchased and licensed the pattern featuring the Mudcloth Wrap. The Mudcloth Wrap and other original accessories from Twain’s Twines by Twain Revell for McCall Patterns worldwide launch was released on November 1, 1994. Twain’s Twines contemporary Mudcloth Accessories for men’s formal wear were featured on the television soap opera One Life to Live on February 14-15, 1995 for Hank and Sheila’s wedding. As a featured artist for Kwanzaa Fest ’96, Twain appeared on television’s ABC Eyewitness News and NBC’s Today Show. Featured in a 3 page article in Spin-Off Magazine, Summer 2007. On February 11, 2014 will mark her sixth Designer show in New York City as seen in the Fashion Calendar with Ruth Findley.
